From time to time here at the chapel, we take a little break from the sermon series to consider and reflect upon another portion of the Bible. Frequently, a text is chosen to accomadate the partaking of the Lord's Supper in order to be reminded of the astounding invitation that Jesus gives to us, as we come and eat with Him by faith.
"How many of you say: I should like to see His face, His garments, His shoes. You do see Him, you touch Him, you eat Him. He gives Himself to you, not only that you may see Him, but also to be your food and nourishment."
John Chrysostom (349-407)
